It was with deep sadness that I read of Les’s passing as he was a man held in high regard by the Taylor family.
Few contractors have left such a permanent reminder of their labours at “Lora Valley Farm” that Les has, from the miles of concrete post fences put in by him and Lindsay in the late 60’s, the countless gullies he filled in and contoured with his bulldozer, and lastly the building he undertook for Jill and I in the 80’s, upgrading our house and building the farms wool shed complex.
I admired Les for his work ethic, ability and his can-do attitude, and you have my deepest sympathies, and are all in Jill and my thoughts at this time.

Loving thoughts to the family. Les, for us, will always be remembered as our skilled and friendly builder with the smiling eyes.
