KELLY David Howard (Pops)

Peacefully in Invercargill at Vickery Court on Friday 15 April 2022

It is with great sadness that we say farewell to Pops who has left our world to reunite with the love of his life and his soulmate Granny Ann.  We are all privileged to have had Dad’s unconditional love for 82 years. His gift of life to us will continue to live on throughout the generations to come, we are his legacy.  

Cherished husband and soul mate of the late Ann (Granny Ann)

Loved Father and best friend of Di, Gerry & Wendy, Angie & Lynzy, Bobby & Al

Devoted and loving Pops to all his Grand and Great Grandchildren 

A very special Pops to Mechaela & Kurt, Tyler & Tess, Kodi & Rebecca, Ethan & Jessica, Ricky, Aroha, Nakita, Zane, Ned & Gretchen, Samantha and the late Tui Marie

Also, his Great Grandchildren Kane, Reid, Nixon, Lily, Jim, Braxton, Aurora, Wyatt, Roman, Molly, J-Rock, Alcatraz, Arcadia, Ruby, Macie, Bea, Ceci and the late Abel

Son of the late Eric & Mary Kelly, Wairio

Loved Brother and Brother In-law to the large Kelly & Butler Clans

Pops will be resting at home with family until his final farewell at the Nightcaps Town Hall, 11am Thursday 21st April 2022.

Interment will follow at the Wairio Cemetery after his final lap of the track at McGregor Park, Nightcaps

 Much thanks to Dr Cremasco and the Nightcaps Medical Staff for the care you have given Dad (Davey Boy) over the years in Nightcaps.  Your dedication to his care is truly appreciated.

A special heartfelt thank you to ALL the incredible Staff at Vickery Court, for Dad became your Pops too, he enjoyed every day with you, especially the laughter and the funny antics.  Your kindness, love, dedication and compassion was absolutely amazing. We only knew David for such a short time but we loved his company, his sense of humour fitted with Peters so well. We were very privileged to be able to spend his 80th birthday on the farm with us. Hope you enjoyed Uncle Rays bed David.
