PEARSON, Eleanor Margaret.

Aged 81, of Te Anau. Passed away peacefully at home on the morning of Monday 25 April, 2022. Loved and devoted wife of the late John. Loved eldest daughter of the late Ned and Margaret Smith (Queensberry). Cherished by all her children and their spouses, Stuart and Kazuko (Lake Hayes Estate, Diane and Roy Traies (Timaru), the late Alistair (Anatori), Carolyn and the late Lawrence Pei (Te Anau), Leonie and Peter Thomas (Rangiora). Loved Gran of her many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Best Big Sister to Brenda Hayes, the late Leicester, Neville, Irene Weaver, Melvyn, and their spouses. A private cremation was held on Wednesday 27 April. Friends and family are warmly invited to a memorial garden party at 20 McKerrow Street, Te Anau, on Wednesday 4 May from 10am to 3pm. Bring your memories to share with each other. In lieu of flowers we welcome donations to the Cancer Society, Fiordland Medical Practice, and Fiordland Cat Rescue. We so remember Eleanor she worked for us when we lived above WMA shop kept our flat and cat in order. She was always so kind and graceful, nothing was too much trouble, so good to have had her in our lives all those years ago. Rest In Peace reunited with John.
