MARTIN Joan Morag (nee Macleod)

Peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family at Southland Hospital on Friday 29th April 2022, in her 90th year.

Dearly loved wife of the late Jim.

Loved mother and mother in law of Anne and Stuart Grant (Kaikoura), Ian and Deirdre (Wellington), and friend of Gale.

Loved Grandma/Granny of Jane and Chuck (USA), Sarah and Neil (Dunedin), and Hannah (UK); Hamish and Alexander (Zandy)(Wellington).

Loved Great Granny of Raegan, Piper (USA), Annabelle and Freddie (Dunedin).

Loved sister and Aunt to her wider family in NZ and Scotland.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St John Ambulance would be greatly appreciated and can be left at the service.

A farewell for Joan will be held on Wednesday 4th May 2022 at 10am, J Fraser and Sons Chapel, Corner Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill.  A private cremation will follow.

Joan will be very much missed. She was such a lovely wee lady who had such a wicked sense of humour. She made people laugh. :-)

Joan was a long time member of the Invercargill Bridge Club. She had a lovely sense of humor and always a twinkle in the eye. She was also
very stoic as ensured when she was declarer her partner laid down their cards in specific order or play would not commence. Joan will be missed by many at the club.
