So sorry to hear of Colin's passing. We worked together at Macaulay Motors for a long time. I also used to catch up with him when we were both at the Clyde Street workshop.

Condolences to the family. I worked with Colin many years ago when he was in the parts department at Macaulay Motors and I was a mechanic there. He was the go to guy for bits and could reel of part numbers like you wouldn’t believe. Then caught up with him again many years later when he was working in Winton. He was a good bugger. RIP Colin

Colin sent me first solo when i was doing my private pilot licence at the Southland Aero Club around 1992. I was fortunate to recognise him close to 30 years later in Invercargill at the Motorcycle Museum and got to say hello again.

To Colin’s family, we were saddened to hear of Colin’s passing. I remember him supporting the NZAWA rallies when I was younger and his regular presence in aviation activities.
