John Laurie Hancox

Hancox, John Laurie: 19.3.1942 - 25.5.2022 Passed away peacefully at Southland Hospital, aged 80 years. Dearly loved husband of Elizabeth (Betty). Loved father and father-in-law of David and Donella (Australia), Marie and David Fahey, Stuart Hancox, Paul and Rebecca (Wellington). Loved brother and brother-in-law to Graeme* and Anne, Grace and Bob Todd, Neville and Kathleen, Allison and Alex* Kidd. A proud grandfather to his 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. A service to celebrate John’s life will be held in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, Cnr Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill on Tuesday, 31 May at 1.30pm. Interment at the Eastern Cemetery to follow.
