We would like to pay tribute to our cousin Gwenda. Gwenda was a talented, gracious and radiant person who loved her Lord. We have very special memories of a visit to the family while they were living in Dunedin. We reconnected years later when we stayed with Ken and Gwenda in Invercargill. We had brought my father to a Southland Boys High reunion. Their hospitality was wonderful. We have been able to visit Invercargill at least annually for the past ten years. It was also a privilege to visit Gwenda in her rest home. We shared special moments of recognition and prayer. The importance of her family and the love that the family had for Gwenda was always present. Please accept our sympathy and love. God be with you all.

Dear Lois, Alan and families,
We were so sorry to see Gwenda's death notice in yesterday's ODT and we want to send our deepest sympathy and love to everyone. Gwenda has been in Vickery Court for a long time and in many ways her death brings a finality to a very long life, well lived - as a daughter, sister, mother, wife and wonderful friend to so many people. She was one of God's treasures and we know for sure she is now at peace in His kingdom. You will miss her so much but be assured that her faithfulness to God and his church, her friendship to so many people will never be forgotten. We will be thinking of you on Tuesday when she is farewelled at a service in Windsor church and take comfort that many people will be holding you in their prayers.
Much love from Margaret and Brian Hall

Dear Lois, Krystal and family
Gwenda was such a lovely kind lady. She & Ken always greeted you at church with the warmest of smiles. They had so much love for everyone. Thinking of you at this sad time.

My sincere sympathy to Lois and family in the loss of Gwenda, from Gwenda's cousin Margaret Tepania [Warburton].
Gwenda was such a caring, kind person and over the years I have enjoyed her wonderful hospitality - when I lived in Invercargill and when visiting Uncle Warren and Aunty Freda.
She was aways wonderful at keeping regular contact with the extended family with her regular newsy Christmas Cards.
I remember many years ago Gwenda and Ken visiting me in Whangarei while on a trip around the Northland area..
My loving thoughts to you all.
Margaret
