Dan and I have been great friends for many years, he's like my brother. Whilst I never got the chance to meet you Michael, I know so much about you through how Dan spoke of you over these years and I know how much Dan looked up to you and loved you. You were his hero and I hope you know how much of a great job you did in raising a great man in your son. Our thoughts are truly with you, your family and your friends.

In all the beer's and all the roast's you never caused a problem, you are one of the nicest person's I have known. So many good time's with you, Gary, Steve, Paddy, and your dear friend Ian 'BOOTS' McDonald. I wish you peace mate! Cheers Ian Johnson.

For a quiet man you lived a loud life. However I’m convinced we could all turn to the word “content” in the dictionary and there you would be a, photo of you, sitting in that chair with a cheeky smile on your face, a DB in one hand and the other most likely flipping us all off. Who knew that one finger could hold so much love and how lucky we all are to have been loved by you.

You have left one hell of a legacy Michael, one that will be thought of and shared often around tables filled with laughter and “cheers”. You’re a light in our lives and will forever be missed.

Thank you for being the best Grandfather to Louie and Uncle to Kyrin, Hunter and Jackson that we could ask for, one who could grow wings and be with our boys forever.

“You will find me when you seek me with all of your heart”
Jeremiah 29:13

Love always Xx
