Sorry to see of Colins passing. We have enjoyed a long association with both Colin and Christine and the recent experience with Thomas and Dee to make the addition to the home farm. Colins steady hand and guiding light over many years will be missed but we are sure your good teamwork will continue.

Colin,

I don’t have enough words to express how much of an impact you had on my life, and indeed everyone else’s. Your calm, kind and humorous manner was infectious and something that had such a positive impact on me.

It was an honour to have called you my father in law. I hope that I will be able to pass on your warmth and Joie de Vivre through to your granddaughter, Madeleine, and achieve the same family values you lived by, with my wife and your daughter, Carolyn.

I raise a Grouse in your name, and will miss learning about grass, sheep teeth, how to make something from nothing and a friendly sporting rivalry- even though I never did gloat too much about the Rugby World Cup semi final in 2019!

A very special man has left something special behind for us all to remember, and I will miss you dearly. Your family have been broken by your absence, but they have your strength to get them through.

Forever in my memory, from your son in law,

Barnaby

One of our most precious memories of our visit to New Zealand was the time we spent with Christine and Colin. I’ll never forget Colin showing us the milking barn. He was so proud of the technology and efficiency. So sorry for your loss Christine. Rest In Peace Colin.
