I'll always remember the week I spent on the farm when I was about 12 years old wth Uncle Mervyn. He let me join him on all the farm chores, and rounding up the sheep. He was brave enough to stand on the sheep trailer and allow me to drive the Three wheeler around the farm and the roads. A lovely, kind, caring and patient man.

To Phyllis and Family members our sincere sympathy at this time of Mervyns passing, our thoughts are with you all as you enter a era of change. We have very happy memories of time spent with him over the years usually in short bursts, with conversation, laughter and warmth to be taken as one moved on. An honour to have these memories of a special man, who welcomed many into his world. Rest in Peace Mervyn.
