O’Brien George Francis. Peacefully at Hospice Southland on 17th September 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Aged 79 years. Dearly loved husband of Kathy.* Much loved father and father in law of Bob and Vicki, Susan and Graham, Lynne and Eddie. (All of Te Anau) Loved proud Pop of Allister, Catherine and Laura. Loved great grandfather of his 5 great grandchildren. Loved son of Violet* and Fred* and loved brother of Charles. Messages to 46 Pukutahi Drive Te Anau 9600. A service to celebrate George’s life will be held in the Te Anau Club, Pop Andrew Drive, Te Anau on Friday 23 September 2022 commencing at 1.30pm. His interment will follow at Lynwood Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be left at the service to Hospice Southland. On line tributes may be left on his tribute page at frasersfunerals.co.nz/tributes where a link to a livestream of his service will also be available. Special thanks to the teams at Fiordland Medical Centre and Hospice Southland for their loving care of Dad. *denotes deceased
