So very sad to read of Tony’s passing. He was a tall, strong, stylish, respectful man and a loving husband, father and grandfather and friend to many. Such fond memories of Tony (and Noeline) over the last 20 years at McAuley place; the occasional old boys home brew sessions on a Friday afternoon at Dads, Sunday communion and coffee, the lollipops for our kids, and us always giving a toot and wave as we drove past your home. I am so sorry for your loss dear Noeline, Wayne, Sharron, Donna and Angela and families. I pray that you find strength from your faith and the love that surrounds you all at this time. May you now Rest In Peace Tony. Much love and hugs to you all xx

Tony will be fondly remembered for his large personality and caring man he was.

So sad to hear the news of Tony’s passing. He is a great man who will be missed. Big hugs to Noelene from both of us.
My condolences to all the family.
Sadly we cannot make the funeral due to a prior commitment in Dunedin.
But both Sue and myself will be thinking of you all.
Go catch up with your great mate Jim, I can see the yarns and stories unfolding even now.

So very sad to read of Tony's passing. He was a great friend to the Peel family and has been thought of fondly over the years. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. We have spoken about both Tony and Noeline remembering them from our time living in Invercargill.

Uncle Tony left a huge impression on me all the way back to when i was small and here was this huge man with a huge smile and genuinely took an interest in what you had to say and then offer advice. I was proud of having such a nice and wonderful uncle. Unfortunately separated from distance meetings were rare but that sparkle in his eyes always made you feel happy. Your family must be so proud of you, fly high and i know god will welcome you as a blessing amongst his children. Love and hugs Paul.

So very sad to hear of Tony's passing and our thoughts are with Noelene and the rest of the whanau. We go back to the days we lived in Bluff and we had wonderful nights there with the Maori boys and the guitars. Then my late brother Guido and I were boarders at 27 O'Hara Street. Then when our flat burned down in Ythan Street, Tony and Alec Stojkovich convinced us to buy 42 Brown St with the insurance money and that became the family home. When we shifted to Nelson Tony and Noeleen included my Mother Hortense in lots of the family occasions and were so knind and loving towards my mother. I could go on about all our experiences with Queens Park Soccer Club but no doubt a lot of the old members will cover that. Unfortunately Mary and I won't be able to attend the funeral but we send our best love to you all and will be thinking of our dear friend Tony with love. Gus, Mary Beullens and extended families.

First of all condolences to the entire Doorman family here in New Zealand , Australia, Holland and other parts of the world

Tony as a lot of you know has been a huge part of my family’s life for my entire 38 years

I grew up sitting around the table with Tony and Dad on a Friday night having a few drinks and listening to them both talk about their home countries , work , soccer and rugby

I am so grateful I had such strong minded men influence me at my early stages of my life

Tony & Noline I thank you both for your loyal friendship to my family over my lifetime, your loyalty to my Dad regardless of your differences, your commitment to call me or contact me on my birthday every year , your love and support to my mum Trish throughout her struggles in life

When I came and saw you recently I knew it would be the last time I would see you on this earth this was a special moment that I will never forget

As I said to you that day I love you mate your legacy lives on through your beautiful family until we meet again Rest In Peace
