So sorry to hear this news my condolences to Deidre and all Rodneys family. I will always remember the great times and many laughs we had when I Car Pooled with Rodney to Tiwai while on Crew 4. It was the best part of going to work. I know he loved you guys to bits and was very proud of being married and his kids. Fun times playing rugby for tiwai tigers and I'm sure missed at Pirates Old Boys.. He will be missed by all those who knew him. Take care. Jenny G

I am so sorry to hear of Rodney’s passing. A few years back I worked in his crew as a student for two summers, he was always so kind and made sure I felt welcome being a young girl in a big crew of guys! Over the years I’ve bumped into him a couple of times and he would always stopped for a quick chat. To his family - I’m so sorry for your loss he was the kindest man 💐
